October 11th 2013 - ROCKSTAR presents A Day To Remember's HOUSE PARTY TOUR with special guests The Wonder Years, Pierce The Veil & All Time Low @ The Sun National Bank Center in TRENTON NJ!
For this show I purchased ViP tickets they had a few different ViP packages for ADTR & I purchased the ViP acoustic package for $75.00 which included a 2 song acoustic set for the VIPs only, an autographed poster, Q&A with the band members, a t-shirt & a "Family Portrait" with the band along with your general admission(floor) ticket!
The ViP was about 2 hrs long and it was awesome! You get to be up close with the band and listen to a two song acoustic set, then they answered our questions a lot of people asked and they answered! It was so awesome as I was right on the front row of people watching the acoustic set & was able to get some great photos & even a video of one of their acoustic songs. After the ViP was over we were then escorted by security to the barricades I was right on the barricades to the left of the stage the ENTIRE SHOW!!! Wow what an experience that was!
The first band to go on was The Wonder Years, I have honestly never really listened to them but they were really good live with some really good music! Definitely a band to add to your playlists! After The Wonder Years, Pierce The Veil went on. I've attended many of other Pierce The Veil shows and they always put on a GREAT show every time and it seems every time I see them they get better and better! They played about 8 songs this night in Trenton NJ, including Caraphernelia feat. Jeremy McKinnon of ADTR! All of their songs were awesome & they know how to put on an amazing show every time!! Next band to go on was All Time Low, they also put on a great show, their set was also about 8 songs which included one of their newest hits feat. Vic Fuentes of Pierce The Veil "A Love like War"which was awesome! Next up the Headliner of the House Party Tour A DAY TO REMEMBER! A Day To Remember's set was amazing they started out with a intro video on a big projection screen of a house party where they then exited the video into a garage, which they entered the stage out of a houses garage! Yes they had an actual house built on the stage for their performance which made their set look even more amazing! They had a 20 song or more setlist! Every song that they played was GREAT & for each song they had props to go along with their set (Toilet paper, beach balls, confetti, & Shooting T-shirts from guns). The last song of the night was downfall of us all where all the VIPs went on stage to dance around with ADTR, they then had cops come to break of the party and a helicopter to blow up the house to end out the show! They ended with bowing to the crowd where they then dropped a curtain that said "The End"! What an AWESOME night and AWESOME PERFORMANCES by all the bands that played tonight! BEST CONCERT OF MY LIFE!!
The crowd grew as each band went on but once the headlining band went on the entire Sun National Bank Center was full! This show was sold out to 7100 people! One of the biggest shows in all of ADTR & PTV's touring careers! Which is amazing that I got to be apart of the biggest sold out show in both of the bands history of touring!!!!
Not only did I get to see 4 AWESOME bands play on October 11th 2013 on the #housepartytour BUT I also got to meet/get a photo with Adam Elmakias!!!! He is a very big inspiration to me as I would love to become a touring music photographer! Photography & Going to concerts are what I love doing & seeing that it is possible to make a career out of those 2 things gives me the determination to keep on photographing and I hope to get to work in the photo pit with you one day!!!!!
